Student Absences
All absences must be explained prior to, or on the day of, absence by a parent. The office MUST be notified of these absences.
Parents will be notified by text message regarding any unexplained absence, as per the Department of Education’s policy.

Our preferred method of notification is by SMS on 0427 786 846.
Late arrival to school
Students are required to arrive at school prior to 8.50am each morning and attend Care Group.
Students arriving late may attract consequences unless a signed note from a parent is provided.
Students arriving at school after 8.45 am must:
- Provide a note of explanation signed by a parent/guardian or;
- Have their parent/guardian text or phone the school to explain the lateness
ALL late students MUST check-in at the office to receive a late pass which must be presented to their teacher on arrival in class for electronic roll-marking.
