Moura State High School is a school committed to providing access to a quality education for young people in the Dawson Valley. Moura State High School draws from feeder schools across the Dawson Valley, with students from Moura, Theodore, Bauhinia and Banana all represented. This diversity enhances the culture of our school with students from a range of backgrounds contributing to our school identity.
Moura State High School has developed strong, supportive relationships with our students, parents and the wider Moura community and we value the contributions that these groups make to our school. Our P&C is extremely active and supportive; enhancing many of the student opportunities that are on offer.
Through embracing technology, our students can access a wide range of curriculum options in both the Junior and Senior Phases of Learning, access through Virtual Schooling and enrolment in School of Distance Education supplement school based subject options, ensuring that the subject choices available to our senior students support their career aspirations.
