Moura State High School is a small high school catering for about 170 students across years 7 – 12.

The 2016 School Review Executive Summary indicates that the school is driving a ‘sharp, narrow and focused' explicit improvement agenda, focused on Pedagogy & Reading, Student Wellbeing and Curriculum. Moura High is proud of its strong and positive relationship with the local community.

Moura State High School has four feeder schools: Moura State School, Banana State School, Bauhinia State School and Theodore State School. A Special Needs unit is also attached to the high school, catering to a small group of students.

The school’s leadership team consists of the Principal, Deputy and two Heads of Department supported by a HOSES and a Guidance Officer.

Although small, Moura State High School offers a large range of subjects with access to the Brisbane School of Distance Education.
